Tucked along North Lake Boulevard, Log Cabin Ice Cream & Coffee has been a local favorite for generations. Originally opened in the late 1970s or early ’80s, our little shop has welcomed families, travelers, and beachgoers with the simple joys of ice cream and coffee in a cabin full of character. Over the years, we’ve grown with our community while staying true to the same friendly, down-to-earth spirit.
Our menu blends old-fashioned parlor classics with fresh flavors that celebrate the Tahoe lifestyle. From timeless favorites like cookies & cream or mint chip, to specialties like Tahoe Blueberry and honey lavender gelato, every scoop is made to bring a smile. “What a Great Place! Real Dairy Stuff!!! Delicious, high-fat ice cream, The way God intended it. We (Diana) and I were coming home from Lincoln,Ca. As we came to the top of Lake Tahoe/Kings Beach. It’s been only a handful of times that I have had a Milkshake like I had as a Kid? It was So Good, I wish I had got a Shake for just Me! Can’t wait to head that way soon for more of this place.”
Log Cabin Ice Cream in Tahoe hosted its annual “Cop with a Cone” event, bringing together CHP officers, Placer County Sherrif’s deputies and the community for a sweet afternoon of treats and connection. Families enjoyed ice cream while chatting with officers, making it a fun and memorable day. The event was a resounding success, strengthening community bonds one scoop at a time.
